Keel Fin Fish
$500.00

Model Description

The Keel Fin Fish, also known as the Bushrat Fish, originally became synonymous with Derek Hynd’s history making performances at J Bay. This model is one of the early model fish that brought attention to the Fish Revolution on the world stage.

In down the line waves, The Keel Fin Fish with a shorter relatively parallel rail line and traditional plywood keels will meet a wave's power with mind blowing speed. For less refined surfing lineups, the hip, or little flyer, provides a surfing experience that’s fast and versatile, never deviating from a high speed momentum.

The Keel Fin Fish is designed to be ridden 3” to 4” shorter than your height.

This is the go to model for style oriented and expressive surfers, that want to surf fast, with unwavering momentum, and versatility.

Model Features

Deep Swallow Tail. Traditional True Ames Plywood Keels. Slight Roll, to Flat, to Concave Bottom. Pinch Hull Entry Rails into Concave Tail Exit. Nose Beak. Low Rocker Profile.

Jeds Notes

The Keel Fin Fish is the fastest down the line model in the water. It will plane out wide on the open faced shoulder, but also sit deep in the barrel when the waves are draining. Swooping bottom to top turns are the style-oriented surfer’s go to’repertoire, along with high speed open face cut backs. The hip gives the board the opportunity to break into hard pivots and more dynamic. This board’s been developed alongside the worlds best fish riders, with perfected refinement of fin placement and curve integration. If you want a one board quiver, this is the one.

Midlength II
$500.00

Deposit required for payment at Checkout

Model Description

The Midlength II is similar to the Midlength I but has a more pulled in nose and tail, and is slightly more rockered.

As the big brother of the Split Pin, the Midl 2 is designed for bigger than average waves with energy. The Mid 2 is considered a Step Up but with more width and area.

The Mid 2 represents the culmination of Jeds decades of shaping experience, tuned with the scientific pinnacle of sacred geometry in its application to surfboard design.

This is Jeds benchmark for surfboard design and craftsmanship resulting in a surfing experience defined by; control, performance versatility and unfettered high speed velocity.

Model Features

Rounded Pin Tail. Clustered Quad or Twin. Spiral Concave to Vee Bottom. Medium Refined Low Profile Rails. Medium Rocker Profile.

Jeds Notes

These boards aren’t meant for wriggling, thrusting or pumping. They’re designed to find the right line like a single fin, but with controllability and crazy amounts of speed through all intersections of where the board meets the wave. The medium rocker line prefers waves with energy.

Unbroken curves create the innate speed in the board, combined with the drive and hold of a longer rail. The freedom of the twin-like quad  fin cluster gives access to a unique high line with speed to burn.

Mid Fish
$500.00

Deposit required for payment at Checkout

Model Description

Designed for a variety of waves from small beach breaks to double overhead reef and point breaks, The Midfish, like the smaller Keel Fin Fish, draws unique incredibly fast lines.

With generous volume and planing area combined with a relatively low rocker profile, the Midfish will get into waves early.

The Midfish is designed to be ridden from all positions of the board. Planting the back foot on the tail allows for radical high speed pivoting turns that don’t lose speed, whilst down the line and open face speed isn’t sacrificed by riding in forward trim.

Model Features

Single Flyer Swallow Tail. Four channels. Clustered Quad or Twin Fin. Spiral Concave to Vee Bottom. Medium Refined Low Profile Tucked and Chimed Rails. Low Rocker Profile.

Jeds Notes

The aim of the Midfish was to get a Keel Fin feel in a longer, easier to paddle length. The Spiral V and Split Keel fin configuration allows the board to roll onto rail at speed. The Midfish holds a true line and provides an incredibly versatile, high speed, and traditional surfing experience.
